Since Chris had been chosen to be part of this team, Julian had introduced him to his brothers and sister, who were all great fighters. As the Warrior Spirits became increasingly occupied over time, his family gladly welcomed the opportunity to train not only Chris but also the other mages and fighters in their group in essential fighting techniques.
His brothers and sister weren’t qualified to participate in the upcoming war, as their levels were too low, and they wouldn’t reach level 200 even if they raided purple dungeons nonstop during the next 10 days. So, they were helping him and his students improve their fighting techniques, as it was all they could do for them.
The fighters in his team followed the rigorous training of the Warrior Spirits during the morning, while the mages would meditate to increase their mastery with their elements in the special dimension reserved for the mages.
After lunch, they spent 2 hours training their dual energy attacks, and then they would meet his family to raid dungeons. Inside the dungeons, not only could they test their dual energy attacks, but the mages would receive a lot of guidance in their fighting techniques. Even the fighters were glad that Julian’s family came raiding with them, as they were given precious pointers.
His team was getting stronger and stronger with each passing day, and he was really proud of them all. The control they had over their energy reserves was remarkable, and it was this particularity that had allowed them to become part of this special team.
When the last of his students finally broke the illusion, they all received a message from the system’s tower.
[Congratulations on passing the trial of the sixth floor. Your perception points increase permanently by 10, and your energy reserve increases by 1,000 points.]
The rewards given by these towers were truly priceless. They had just gained 2,000 points of energy reserve from these two floors alone. They all grew very excited about what awaited them on the next floors.
Before entering the seventh floor, Julian took the time to explain to them what kind of trial they would have to face. Not allowing room for any negotiations, he told them that they would be cheating this time to be able to test the upper floors, which would put their team fighting abilities to the test.
Even though some of the fighters would have preferred to try to pass the trial of the seventh floor on their own, they were also curious to face the enemies that were on the eighth floor.
They had heard from other fighters and mages that they faced God-level warriors on the eighth floor. This would give them a good opportunity to see their limits when facing such enemies, as the strength of the creatures inside the purple dungeons rarely exceeded level 150. Even when they were level 200 creatures, they still weren’t at the God level.
When everyone was ready, Julian led them inside the seventh floor. After the warning message from the system’s tower, they were all plunged into an illusion.
Right after the trial began, Yelena could feel a foreign strength trying to pierce her defenses, but she held up. After a short moment, this strength stopped, and she didn’t feel any other threat coming at her.
She then sent a wave of energy to wake up the rest of her teammates, and she widened her eyes when Julian broke the illusion on his own just before her wave touched him.
Julian was decidedly very powerful. Even Iris told her that she always spent a few minutes breaking the illusion of the seventh floor, but Julian did it in less than one minute.
Moreover, the guidance she received from him was much more useful to her than all the advice that the Warrior Spirits could give her.
Of course, in terms of fighting techniques, Iris’s knowledge was by far superior to Julian’s, but as she was quite unique, he was the only one who could help her integrate her unlimited source of energy into her fighting techniques.
She had become much more powerful than before, thanks to him. Her power right now was on par with Nolan’s, and she wasn’t that far from being able to use the same power as the Warrior Spirits.
But it wasn’t only her personal strength that she was looking to improve; her large-scale buff was even more important. If she could increase the power of everyone before the battle began, that would be awesome.
Right now, her buff couldn’t provide a stable increase in power. The people within 20 meters around her could receive a 5x boost to all their basic stats. Those standing between 20 to 50 meters around her would receive a 3x boost, and for the rest, with her maximum range of action being 100 meters, they would only receive a 2x boost.
Her goal was to increase the number of people she could give a 5x boost and to extend the range of her large-scale buff.
When Julian felt her wave of energy hit him, he smiled at her, and after a few more seconds, everyone broke free from their illusion. Most of them had haggard expressions, as the illusion was truly a terrifying experience for inexperienced individuals like them.
Those who wanted to challenge this trial alone were finally glad for Yelena’s help, and as they gathered around Julian, they received a message from the system’s tower.

This time, they didn’t receive any rewards. Yelena was the only one to get them, and the rewards she received were awesome. She gained 20 permanent perception points and 2,500 chakra points. Even though the energy points were useless to her, as she already had an unlimited reserve of energy, it gave the others an idea of the rewards they could earn by passing this test alone.
