Chapter 117 â Cat Dadâs First Sea PVP (4)
As the frigate kept sailing forward, it left the beacon of light, which didnât follow after Xiaomaoâs location. Moreover, the bright light slowly dimmed as the sign was not permanent.
Without the light, the black frigate slowly faded into the darkness. On the other hand, the pursuing ships ended up sailing into the light and became clear targets.
Fishing boats, motorboats, and rowboats were the only ones in the dimming beacon. The playersâ vessels chased after the ship without maintaining their formation. As a result, the carefully planned Row Formation changed into the Wedge Formation, going after the stern of Wellerboy.
Meanwhile, the cog ships of Yarr Guild, which had broken the previous formation a long time ago, were forming a column formation, sailing along the Wellerboyâs right stern. Saxon and his friends empowered the sails and mana engines of their small ships, picking up the speed.
Soon, they caught up to the Wellerboyâs starboard side, but their distance was at least 500 meters apart.
Saxon lighted another flare and fired in the direction of the black frigate to measure the distance. When Wellerboy was visible, Sawyer and Saxonâs expressions were brightened.
No crew seemed to notice their presence yet.
âThis is our moment! Tell all ships to port by 20 degrees. Weâll intercept that battleship!â
The cannon crew pursed their lips, disappointed by the order.
âWeâre not going to shoot them?â
Sawyer explained, âWe outnumber them. If we can kill all the crews, we can steal their ship! Whatâs the point of damaging our soon-to-be flagship?! How much money and time do you think we need to invest in one of those?â
The crewmates were enlightened. They got excited that they would finally have a proper ship for their guild.
âThatâs right! We canât call ourselves pirates if we donât have a proper jewel like that!â
âThat thing looks like the Black Pearl. Itâs an ideal ship for pirates like us!â
âYARR! WE WANT THAT SHIP!â
Saxon and Sawyer smiled and salivated. They, too, couldnât wait to claim the ship and steal all Xiaomaoâs legendary artifacts.
But as they were fantasizing about their future adventures, squeaky noises of bats interrupted their daydream. Everybody looked up and found a horde of a hundred bats, circling around their fleet.
âBats?â
Male gamers were used to bats, rats, and pests. They raised their weapons and tried to shoo away the bats. As for female gamers, half of them took a deep breath and remained quiet while the other half shrieked as if they were stupid characters in horror movies.
The bats descended in unison and latched on female players and male players with female avatars. Their fangs sunk into their necks.
1 Damage!
The damage was pathetic. The players were stunned at first, but the men laughed afterward. Meanwhile, the women didnât utter a sound even though they were attacked.

The system prompts appeared in front of all the female avatars, who never had a sexual relationship with anybody in-game. They stared at the messages in astonishment.
Several men, aka many-man-online-role-player-girls-type, didnât bat an eye. They accepted the offer right away.
DING
Different races came with different types of vampires. The gamers received the confirmation messages, and they discovered that their Dark Element and overall status attributes sharply rose.
But before they could even celebrate, a new game message mocked them for choosing the wrong option.
The mutated players could no longer control their game avatars. They could only watch how their game characters unsheathed their weapons and assaulted their colleagues.
âW-What are you doing?! AHHHHH!!â
Cries and panicking screams of Yarr Guildâs members caused a commotion. The ship crews turned around to see what their colleagues were doing and found out that they were fighting each other.
Saxon used the cash shop speakerphone again.
âWHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP MESSING AROUND!â
Despite using the speakerphone, the fight didnât stop. The mutated vampires took the initiative and slaughtered a dozen players.
The bats didnât stop there. They merged as one and transformed into a late-middle-aged man in a Dracula cloak. The vampire ancestor landed in the middle of Saxonâs ship and humbly bowed toward them.
âGreetings, dear guests. Welcome to the party.â
Saxon turned around and glanced at Fu Deâs name and his level. Upon realizing that he couldnât see the strength of this NPC, he took a step back.
âW-Who are you?!â
âIâm currently in debt to that battleshipâs captain, you see. Iâm afraid there must be a misunderstanding going on, and Iâm a civilized person. Why donât we fix the misunderstanding by dropping your weapons and surrendering yourselves to me so that I can kill you painfully.â
ââ¦â
Saxon searched his inventory and brought out holy water, which he usually used on undead monsters, such as skeleton soldiers and zombies. He splashed it on Fu De.
As soon as the holy water splashed on him, it caused a sizzling sound as if juicy meat was placed on a hot barbeque grill. White smoke came out and it caused four digits of damage.
However, Fu De smirked. He patted the wounds, and his skin was healed, including his HP.
âGentlemen, splashing water at strangers is rude. Let me teach you something about manner.â
The belly of Sawyer exploded, instantly killing the player. His blood floated from his opened stomach, gathering into a mass, hovering over Fu Deâs head.
The vampire smiled as he splashed the blood of Sawyer to Saxon, paying him back for splashing holy water on him. However, the blood of Sawyer melted Saxonâs body into goo along with his crewmates and the cog ship.
Just like that, the flagship was sunk, and the Guild Master of Yarr was slain.
Fu De cackled and licked his fingers. He leaped from the sinking cog to another one nearby. As the crew was busy handling the mutated friends, they didnât notice the vampireâs arrival.
âExcuse me.â
Fu Deâs hand pierced the back of a player and pulled out the latterâs heart. The vampire brought it closer to his nose for a sniff before he tossed it away.
âDisgusting sex addicted. Welp, next one.â
He went after another player as if he was on a shopping spree. While he was at it, Magdalene sent a warning.

âWhat slave?â
Fu De was surprised. He looked around and noticed that several people on the ship didnât have the same scent as the players. Their scent was foul, similar to human vomit. On the other hand, players had strong distinctive scents like a mixture of spices â Some smelt nice while some had a disgusting odor.
Upon locating the slaves, Fu De opened his palms and raised his forearm by his shoulders. Then, five dull-eyed people floated from the sea because of the vampire telekinesis ability.
âDo you know how lucky you are?â
The retainers of the players gulped and warily stared at Fu De. They didnât utter a word.
