Getting Started
Installing
ScopeBoxisaself-containedapplication. JustdraganddroptheapplicationtoyourApplicationsfolderorany
otherlocationonyourharddisk,andyou’rereadytostartusingit.
SomeinputdevicesmayneedadditionalsoftwareinstalledtoworkwithScopeBox. Forexample,HDVand
DVCProHDcameraswillnotworkwithouttheadditionofdecodersforthoseformats. Thesecomponentsare
installedwithFinalCutStudio. Otherdevicessuchascapturecardsrequiredriversprovidedbytheir
manufacturers.
Asaruleofthumb,ifyourdeviceworkswithotherQuickTimeapplications,itshouldworkwithinScopeBox.
Uninstalling
IfyouwanttouninstallScopeBox,simplydragtheapplicationtothetrash.
ScopeBoxstoresitspreferencesinafilenamed“com.divergentmedia.scopebox.plist”inyour
(username)/Library/Preferences/folder. Layoutsandsavedsourcesettingsarestoredin(username)/Library/
ApplicationSupport/.
Registering
WhenyoufirstlaunchScopeBox,itwillrunasScopeBoxLite. ToenablethefullfeaturesetofScopeBox,you
mustenteraserialnumberintheRegistrationdialog. Youmayalsovisit
