There are articles of the participants of the international scientific
conference "Olonkho in context of epic legacy of the world peoples"
which took part in 7,8 September 2000 in the town of Yakutsk in this
collection.
Modern vision of the problem of fixed Turkic and Mongol and
Ugric and Finnish epos collection, popularization and preservation is
described here. As it is necessary to preserve this verbal culture for the
future generations, the conclusion consists of generalizations on the
base of long standing observations of children's audience apprehensions
of non-adapted folklore.
The book is for folklorists, culture workers and for everybody who
is interested in the peoples' verbal culture.
