He asks Debbie several direction questions about her self and team. Debbie's homework assignment is to answer those questions and bring the answers with her at their next meeting. Serve stands for: 1)See the future - where are you going with your team 2)Engage others and develop them - Assign the right people to the right jobs and help them to smooth out their rough edges. 3)Reinvent Continuously - Continue to learn 4)Value Results and Relationships - Get results from those in the right position by being relationships. 5)Embody Values - Walk the talk. Be a role model for what you believe in and your team will follow. As Debbie learns, understands and implements Jeff's teaching she begins to see excellent results.
