This document summarizes a research article that studied the impact of human resource management practices on marketing executive turnover in leasing companies in Sri Lanka. The study evaluated the effects of six HR practices (realistic job information, job analysis, work-family balance, career development, compensation, and supervisor support) on marketing executive intention to leave. Survey results from 100 marketing executives indicated that job analysis, career development, compensation, and realistic job information were negatively correlated with intention to leave, while work-family balance was not. Regression analysis found that compensation and job analysis were strong predictors of marketing executive intention to leave.
