Introduction
Seekers of the Hidden Bargain
Most people have no idea that great bargains surround them as they
meander through aisles of merchandise. Searching only for the red
letters that announce "sale," they never realize they can create their
own discounts.
Mention "bargain" to the average shopper and you conjure up visions
of outlet malls, discount centers, and department store basements. But
the true bargain-hunteran archaeologist/adventurer of another
kindknows the many mysteries hidden within the hearts and
stockrooms of regular retailers, and what's more; knows how to
unearth them.
Real bargain-hunting is an art, a quest, and a game. It's spotting a sale
before it's official. Sniffing out a deal that doesn't yet exist. Creating
bargains where most people see unmarked merchandise.
