I would like to thank all of the contributors in this book. Some participated in the panel
‘Artist-Curators’ at the New Museum conference, in Savannah, USA in 2008, and others
in ‘The Artist as Curator’ panel co-organized with Avantika Bawa at the College Arts
Association, New York City in 2011. A few authors also agreed to write for the book
towards the final stages of the project. I am sincerely grateful to you all for your enthusiasm

introducing me to this topic in a graduate seminar many years ago.
