The above referenced Project was scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of March
17, 2016. Since the Project is located in Joshua Tree, the Planning Division informed the public
in the notice of hearing that anyone interested in attending the Planning Commission meeting
could do so through interactive video available at the Bob Burke Joshua Tree Government
Center. Unfortunately, on the morning of March 17th, technical difficulties prevented use of the
interactive video.
There were approximately 50 people in Joshua Tree who prepared to address the Commission
by video on March 17th. In order to accommodate the speakers in Joshua Tree, the Planning
Commission voted to continue the public hearing for the Altamira Project to Thursday, March
24, 2016, at 9:00 am.
