PRODUCERS NOTES ON USING THIS WORSHIP RESOURCE
The 50 tracks on these 3 cds are pre arranged into groups of songs that we hope will work well together, and provide a
helpful flow as you or your group seek to worship in song. Using the 9 song sets on the discs will mean that you can
use this resource ‘straight out the box’.
In the following pages there are suggestions for additional ‘song sets’. The first 20 are intended for everyday use while
the next 23 are arranged thematically. Lastly there are a few ‘song sets’ that you may find especially suitable for
smaller or more intimate gatherings. Where possible the suggestions are limited to ‘song sets’ within a given disc to
minimize the need to change compact discs in your player. Of course there are many ways of organizing the storage
and playing of tracks and with a little planning bespoke song sets can be created providing hundreds of variations.
In addition to the audio tracks, disc 3 is an enhanced cd which can be viewed using a computer. It contains the
information below and also the full sing along lyrics to all songs. The structures of many recent worship songs are
more complex than the traditional song pattern of alternating verse and chorus, and so the lyrics on the enhanced cd
aim to provide exactly the words needed for the accompaniment track. So for example if a song contains a bridge and
then repeats half of one verse followed by a looped chorus, this is clearly shown.
In doing so our hope is that this pack will be more useful and can be used without musicians, or a worship leader,
and thus provide opportunities for worship in song that might otherwise have been difficult or impossible.
If you wish to use the lyrics for anything other than personal use, for example to project in a church service or to
produce song sheets, then the permission of the publisher is needed. This permission is covered by the Church
Copyright License available from Church Copyright Licensing International (ccli). Please consult your church
administrator, or see www.ccli.com for more information. It is possible that your church or fellowship group already
has such a license.
