Welcome to the latest issue of Papercraft

Essentials. This issue, we are bringing you an
8x8” Christmas Markets instant cardmaking
kit – the images are so realistic and really put you in the
mindset of the fabulous Christmas Markets that we
have each year! I know you are going to love this kit and
everything that you can create with it. The kit allows you
to make Christmas cards instantly, or build up découpage
designs using the die-cut toppers in the kit. It truly makes some beautiful designs, as
you’ll see throughout the magaz ine.
The Design Team has created 16 wonderful projects for you to try your hand at,
Glynis has used the kit to make
starting with some scenic cards from Glynis Bakewell. Then, Amy Wilks shows us how
wonderful scenic designs
to make fun cards for kids using the kit! Emma Smith shows us that the kit is perfect
for those 3D projects – the templates she has used are available to download from
CraftWorld now! Vanessa Hodgson has made clean & simple cards that show off the kit 32
and are ideal for those fast festive makes!
We have also got some ideas to make your stash go even further, such as a
beginner’s guide from Sarah Jackman Read on how to use your nesting dies to create
stencils and masks. Katie Skilton shares her ways of making your buttons go further
and Nicky Gilburt shows us how to get the sparkled glass technique on projects. Plus,
we have new products from CraftStash and StickerKitten.
This issue is jam-packed with ideas and inspiration and I know you’ll be itching to get
started with your crafting, so I shall leave you to it – don’t forget to share your makes
with me!
