Preface
Transport systems constantly require development, which may include among
others infrastructural, organizational or legal character. Corrective actions imple-
mentedonthemacroscaleinsmartcitiesaretargetedmainlyfortheimplementation
of an efficient, cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly transport. One
ofthedirectionsofdevelopmentofmoderntransportsystems isintegration, which
supports both the transport of people and loads. Advanced intelligent communi-
cationsystemsmakeiteasytochangethemeansoftransportduringatripplanning
process. Similarly, advanced and complex models provide support for calculation
and optimization of supply chains, also according to the pro-ecological criterion.
This publication contains selected papers submitted to and presented at the 15th
