First of all, the writer would like to thank Allah SWT who has given his
blessing so the writer could finish the Final Report. The writer also would like to
express the warmest gratitude to Prophet Muhammad saw, for warning and
remembering every kindness or fault occurred. This report is written to fulfill the
requirement of Diploma III in English Department at State Polytechnic of
Sriwijaya, entitled “Designing a Booklet of Al-Qur’an Al-Akbar Museum”.
The writer realizes that there are still some insufficiencies in this final
report. Therefore, criticisms, advices and suggestions are expected for the
perfection of this final report. Hopefully, this report will be useful for the readers,

ABSTRACT

DESIGNING THE BOOKLET OF AL-QUR’AN AL-AKBAR MUSEUM

(FITRI ANI, 2016, 49 pages, 41 pictures, 1 diagram)

The purpose of this study is to design the booklet of Al-Qur’an Al-Akbar
Museum. The Research and Development Modification method by Sukmadinata
et. al (2005) was used to design the booklet. The Research and Development
Modification consists of preliminary study, model development and final product
testing step. In preliminary study, the booklet draft was design based on the
literature study, interview and observation about Al-Qur’an Al-Akbar Museum
and booklet design. In model development, the booklet draft was developed by the
comments of some experts in limited and wider testing. The experts were
commented on the content of the booklet draft, including adding, paraphrasing,
organizing and completing the information included in the booklet draft. In final
product testing, the revised booklet draft was checked by two experts in terms of
booklet design (background, color, fonts) and information about Al-Qur’an Al-
Akbar museum. The valuable comments from the experts helped the writer to
design the final booklet entitled “Al-Qur’an Al-Akbar Museum”. The booklet is
expected to provide information about Al-Qur’an Al-Akbar Museum.
