Fullerton. Nikki is passionate about
creating expressive and colorful art that
communicates with many people.
The National Resource Center for Asian Languages’ Community
Literacy Project aims to generate resources in less commonly taught
languages for teachers, students, and parents. In partnership with
community heritage language schools, PreK-12 school districts, and
institutes of higher education, the Vietnamese Book VVriting Contest
for children ages seven to eighteen provides such resources for
students, teachers, parents, and the broader community.
Dự án viết sách cho cộng đồng của Trung Tâm Tài Liệu Quốc Gia
Về Ngôn Ngữ Châu Á (NRCAL) nhằm mục đích cung cấp thêm sách
đọc cho các giáo viên, học sinh, và phụ huynh đổng thời hỗ trợ các
tác giả viết bằng các ngôn ngữ ít thông dụng. Trung tâm NRCAL
cộng tác với các trường có dạy tiếng Việt, từ lớp dự bị mẫu giáo tới
lớp 12, và các trường cao đẳng. Cuộc thi viết truyện thiếu nhi bằng
tiếng Việt, dành cho học sinh từ bảy tới mười tám tuổi tham dự,
nhằm cung ứng tài liệu cho các học sinh, sinh viên, thầy cô giáo,
phụ huynh và cả cộng đông.
