DuetothepreventionandcontrolofCOVID-19andtravelrestrictionsworldwide,20228thInter-
national Conference onAdvances in Energy, Environment and Chemical Engineering (AEECE
2022)wasadjustedtoonline(video)Conference,whichheldonJune24–26,2022.AEECE2022
is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of energy engineer-
ing,electricalengineeringandmaterialsapplicationtoacommonforum.Theprimarygoalofthe
conferenceistopromoteresearchanddevelopmentalactivitiesinenergyengineering, electrical
engineeringandpowersystemandanothergoalistopromotescientificinformationinterchange
between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the
world.
The conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote
speeches, andonlineQ&Adiscussion. Inthefirstpart, somescholars, whosesubmissionswere
selectedastheexcellentpapers,weregivenabout5-10minutestoperformtheiroralpresentations
onebyone.Theninthesecondpart,keynotespeakerswereeachallocated30-45minutestohold
theirspeeches.Therewere300individualswhoattendedthison-lineconference,representedmany
countriesincludingMalaysia,France,Italy,AustraliaandChina.
Inthesecondpart,weinvitedfourprofessorsasourkeynotespeakers.Prof.AzlinFazlinaOsman,
UniversitiMalaysiaPerlis,Malaysia.Herresearchinterestsareinthefieldofbiomedicalpolymer,
nanotechnology,nanocomposites,biocomposites,chemistryandpropertiesofmaterials.Andthen

wastetreatment,andwastevalorization.AssociateProfessorMdWasikurRahman,JashoreUniver-
sityofScienceandTechnology/DepartmentofChemicalEngineering, Bangladesh. Hisresearch
area:Nanotechnology,Energystorage,Polymersynthesis,Foodpackaging,Watertreatment,etc.
Lastly, weweregladtoinviteASSOC.PROF.ChM.DR.ONGMENGCHUAN,Facultyofsci-
enceandmarinescience,UniversitiMalaysiaTerengganu.Hisfieldofexpertiseincludesmarine
pollution specifically on heavy metals pollution. Their insightful speeches had triggered heated
discussion in the third session of the conference. Every participant praised this conference for
disseminatingusefulandinsightfulknowledge.
Theproceedingsareacompilationoftheacceptedpapersandrepresentaninterestingoutcomeof
theconference.Topicsincludebutarenotlimitedtothefollowingareas:Energy,Power,Electrical,
Environmental,Chemicalandotherrelatedtopics.Allthepapershavebeenthroughrigorousreview
andprocesstomeettherequirementsofinternationalpublicationstandard.
We sincerely hope that theAEECE 2022 turned out to be a forum for excellent discussions
that enabled new ideas to come about, promoting collaborative research. We are sure that the
proceedingswillserveasanimportantresearchsourceofreferencesandknowledge,whichwill
