2.4-liter engine can be mated with a 6-speed manual transmission (Special Edition only). Automatic Transmission
The close-ratio gearing ensures strong performance in any gear. Shift throws are short
and the linkage direct to provide an optimal feel for confident shifting. Available with 6-Speed Manual
both engines, the Sequential SportShift automatic features a cornering-G shift control Transmission
that recognizes when you’re in a curve and will delay upshifting to avoid having to then
downshift when you hit the accelerator as you exit the curve. The automatic transmission
also gives you the option of driving in fully automatic mode or, with race-inspired paddle
shifters, a more hands-on approach.
