''<span>Conheça a linda história de como a Umbanda começou através de um menino de 17 anos ao incorporar o Caboclo das Sete Encruzilhadas, após gravíssima enfermidade. Era dia 15 de Novembro de 1908. Também foi iniciador da Umbanda, juntamente com o Caboclo, um Preto Velho chamado Pai Antônio. Juntos definiram a nova religião como “a manifestação do Espírito para a caridade”.</span><br><span>Desde o primeiro dia de funcionamento da Tenda da nova Umbanda formavam-se verdadeiras romarias em busca de cura e acolhida. Médiuns, cuja manifestação mediúnica fora considerada loucura, deixavam os sanatórios e na Umbanda davam provas de suas qualidades mediúnicas excepcionais. Médicos psiquiatras traziam a relação dos nomes de seus pacientes internados nos manicômios para que o Caboclo apontasse quais internos eram de fato doentes mentais e quais estavam obsediados, e através de trabalhos espirituais de desobsessão voltavam à normalidade.</span><br><span>Cinco anos após a fundação da Umbanda, passou a atuar através da mediunidade de Zélio de Moraes um Guia chamado Orixá Mallet, sendo chamado de “Capitão de Demanda”. Os registros da época o descrevem como um emissário da luz considerado extraordinário que atuava para a proteção espiritual da religião que nascia. Orixá Mallet manipulava com sabedoria e maestria as energias sutis da Natureza e promovia materializações.</span>
