Zoologisches Museum, Humboldt Universit'a '(tZMHU), Berlin, was examined; lectotypes of
thirty-two taxa are designate dand illustrat ehdo;lotype sof fbur taxa and 1ectotyp oefone taxon

Introduction
The greate rpart .of the Staudinge rcollection includi nmgany type series is now preserve din
Zoologische sMuseum, Humbeldt Universita (tZMHU), Berlin ,Though the rnany species-
group taxa were describe dby Staudinge rand other researchers, most of them were described
without designatio nof holotype ,As l had a chance to research the specimens of the
Staudinge rand main collection of the tribe Euthalin i(Rhopaloc Neyrmpah,alidae) preserved
in ZMHU, I designat ehere some 1ectotyp easnd note the knowledge of some taxa.
Among a total of 45 species-group taxa suspected to be housed in ZMHU, six taxa could not
be fbund: Pcrpih ocicero Herbst ,1793 ,Clynthi adamaiZ sErichson ,1834 ,Euthaha htbentina
nacleaya Fruhstorfe r1,913 ,EuthaZia aerepus otestias Fruhstorfe r1,913 ,Euthaha monina
sramana Fruhstorfe r1,913 and Euthaha cordota swta Fruhstorfe r.Two males ofEuthaha
ththetan ayunnana OberthUr ,1907 are erroneously pinned with type labels .In the alphabet-
ica llis tcompiled below, these seven taxa are also enumerated.

At present ,the classification of the subgenus Lbnbusa includin gthibetana, patala ,nara, and
so on, is so confused that fUrthe rrevision is reeommended. Here I regard meth as a subpecies
of Euthaila (Limbus at)hthetana (Poaja d1e88,5), stat. noy. by the feature sof the male
genitali (aFi g4.3) of the lectetyp efor the time being.
