The Robert C. Khayat Scholarship Endowmentwas establishedin 1995to
honorthe dedicatedserviceofRobert C. Khayat, aJournalalumnus, professor
oflaw, andcurrentChancelloroftheUniversity. EachyeartheJournalawards
theRobertC.Khayatscholarshiptoadeservingmember.
AsofJune30,2007,thecorpusoftheendowmentwas$81,696.18.Lastyear
the Journal awarded a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00. The Journal
intendstoawardlargerscholarshipsasthecorpusgrows.

The Mississippi Law Journal Endowment exists to ensure the Journal's
