ThisinstrumentisintendedforindooruseinaninstallationcategoryII,
pollutiondegree2environment.Itisdesignedtooperateatamaximumrelative
humidityof95%andataltitudesofupto2000meters.Refertothe
specificationstablesfortheacmainsvoltagerequirementsandambient
operatingtemperaturerange.
BEFORE APPLYING POWER
Verifythattheproductissettomatchtheavailablelinevoltage,thecorrectfuse
isinstalled,andallsafetyprecautionsaretaken.Notetheinstrument’sexternal
markingsdescribedunderSafetySymbols.
GROUND THE INSTRUMENT
Tominimizeshockhazard,theinstrumentchassisandcovermustbeconnected
toanelectricalprotectiveearthground.Theinstrumentmustbeconnectedto
theacpowermainsthroughagroundedpowercable,withthegroundwire
firmlyconnectedtoanelectricalground(safetyground)atthepoweroutlet.
Anyinterruptionoftheprotective(grounding)conductorordisconnectionof
theprotectiveearthterminalwillcauseapotentialshockhazardthatcould
resultinpersonalinjury.
FUSES
Onlyfuseswiththerequiredratedcurrent,voltage,andspecifiedtype(normal
blow,timedelay,etc.)shouldbeused.Donotuserepairedfusesor
short-circuitedfuseholders.Todosocouldcauseashockorfirehazard.
