Apocalypse: Living with a Cute Baby

There was a man and woman outside of Gu Jin’s room. They were chatting loudly and happily.
Li Ran, who was at the stairwell, overheard their conversation.
“Do you think we can subdue this couple?”
The woman asked the man curiously.
“They were celebrities. If we want to succeed, we must strike first. I wonder what a celebrity’s butt feels like!”
The woman was amused when she heard what the man said. Then, she lightly punched him and teased, “I don’t know anything about a female celebrity’s butt, but a male celebrity’s butt is definitely superior!”
“Nonsense! He probably slept with tons of women. His private parts are probably overused!”
The woman disagreed and argued, “Stop spouting nonsense. If I’m not mistaken, the man is Gu Jin. He’s better than you in every shape and form! You’re trash!”
“A woman like you with no chest and buttocks doesn’t have the right to say anything!”
As soon as she heard that, the woman hit the man.
“D*mn you! I dare you to say it one more time!”
It took a while before the commotion ceased.
When the man and woman walked away from Gu Jin’s room, they bumped into Li Ran. The man’s eyes lit up when he saw her.
“Hello, are you a newcomer on this floor?”
Li Ran shook her head and quickly headed downstairs.
The man sighed as he stared at Li Ran’s back.
As for Li Ran, she only felt safe after leaving the building.
This was not good at all.
The apocalypse had caused everything to decline, including people’s humanity.
Things were just getting worse and worse.
In this lawless world, everyone’s deepest, darkest desires were magnified and displayed on the surface.
Li Ran tried not to think too much about it.
She needed to warn Wang Gang, Gu Jin, and the others about this when they got the chance to group up.
As for now, Li Ran was trying to find her car in the safety base. However, it was nowhere to be seen. She asked a random security guard where the means of transportation were stored, and he told her that the vehicles were at an undeveloped area on the other side.
She needed to walk some distance if she wanted to get there.
The safety base was pretty big. Moreover, it was constructed sophisticatedly. It was almost like a perfect base.
Of course, there were flaws, but everything was in order.
Everyone knew where to go to get particular things done.
There were a total of five dormitory buildings. Li Ran was unsure if every room was occupied, but there were a lot of people coming and going.
The most unique thing was the experimental building. It was rather different compared to the others.
Li Ran did not know how long she had explored the safety base. She decided to take a detour and walked outside.
A few helicopters, cars, and trucks could be seen some distance away.
There were a few guards around.
One of them spotted Li Ran and immediately blocked her way. He asked in a serious tone, “What are you doing here?”
Li Ran smiled to ease the atmosphere. She explained, “I’m here to look for my car.”
“Do you have a permit?”
“What permit?”
The guard glanced at her.
“Are you new here?”
