Over the last 10 years Arcola Theatre has taken thousands of
theatregoers on atheatrical journey by producing and presenting
some of the most diverse and challenging work for the London
stage. We have presented plays and opera that have rarely
seen the light of day as well as revisiting more contemporary
playwrights and presenting the finest international work.
Arcola Theatre has championed new writers and emerging
directors and offered acontinuing platform with which to
continue their journey. We look forward to continuing
the journey at our new home in Ashwin Street.

After studying theatre atYorkStJohn University, Stuart went onto work inthe
YorkTheatre Royalasacasualstage technician. Hewent onto tour with Pilot
Theatre asTechnical Manager onshows suchasLord of the Ries, EastisEast,
Sing Yerheart Out For TheLadsand Fungus the Bogey Man.
After moving to London, Stuart worked asaDeputy Technical Manager at
Hampstead Theatre for ayear and half and asDeputy Technical Manager for
Regents ParkOpenAirTheatre for the 2010 Summer Season.
Stuart currently owns and runs asmall but busy production company called
