make arrangements to handle bidding according to your directions. Bulls are bought at the
lowest price, and satisfaction is guaranteed on bulls purchased sight unseen. Many of our
repeat customers buy their bulls this way.
To provide us adequate time to assist you, please contact us before noon of the day
prior to the sale.
Free Delivery We pay for delivery for all bulls and registered heifers throughout the Continental U.S. If you do
bring a trailer to haul your own, $50 will be deducted from the price of each bull or registered
heifer. Most of the sale cattle will be delivered from 1-3 weeks after the sale, although we will
try to accommodate special needs. Although there occasionally are limitations, in most cases
we can deliver the cattle directly to your ranch.

as well as our major AI sires. All Beckton bred sires (nearly 80 in Bob Hough and Sal Forbes

sale. We will also work with the buyer to collect bulls after the sale.
►Beckton’s focus has always been on the commercial market. From
our earliest sales over 40 years ago, we have retained a 1/3 semen
interest on every bull sold through our sales. This policy has been for
the benefit of our commercial customers, who are not in the business
of selling semen. Buyers at our sale have not had to compete with AI Doug Bingham Spike and Jo
companies when they bid for their choice of bulls. This policy continues

The Beckton Program
Cow Size
The goal for Beckton’s program has always been to develop breeding seedstock which offer increased levels of
performance for the commercial cattleman. Increased performance does not mean maximizing weight and size,
which have already reached the upper limit of economic value for the packer and consumer. It does, however, mean
increasing performance related to calving percentage and weaning percentage; and increasing performance related to
cow maintenance requirements and “pounds of calf per acre” efficiency.
Size Matters The Industry Problem
