SLIDING SCALE OF BENEFITS
Seniors who have the lowest income will receive the highest cash benefit. As
incomes rise, the amount of the cash benefit will decrease.
You will receive a cash benefit geared to your income level if:
• you are a single senior and have an income of less than $17,000 per year;
• you are a two-senior couple and have an income of less than $25,000 per
year;
• you are a one-senior couple and have a total family income of less than
$17,000 per year.
